THE BRIEF:
Supply a GaiaSpace GT3 series touring dome to provide the centrepiece for the Arts Area, within the main arena of Roskilde Festival.
DESCRIPTION:
Roskilde Festival is traditionally held on the same weekend as Glastonbury Festival and attracts a similar sized crowd and has also been running since the early seventies. Headline acts included the mighty Ozzy Osborne, Femi Kuti, Green Day and Duran Duran.
The Gaiaspace Dome formed the venue for the interactive arts section of the festival. This featured a multi-player team computer game during the day and a 'silent disco' using radio receiver headsets during the night.
LOGISTICS:
The Gaiaspace GT3 Series Domes are shipped to each location within a smart blue 20' ISO shipping container and come fully kitted out with a mobile production office and all the equipment necessary to install the structures.
