Our video designers and video engineers have been working with LCD video projectors from the earliest times, back when 1,000 lumens was considered high-end by the likes of Barco and Christie.
These days our relationships with leading suppliers allow us to offer our clients the latest technology on the market. And our truly creative approach to video has allowed us to help the likes of Brian Eno, Carl Cox and audiovisual pioneers Coldcut to realise their artistic visions.
We are equally happy working at the small scale and the very large, always with the same close attention to detail. When re-launching the Royal Festival Hall (RFH) in July 2007, we used eight of the most powerful projectors in England, all seamlessly joined to create a multi-screen panorama stretching over 75 metres across the surface of the building. The show ran from dusk until dawn over two nights, fully stage managed by GaiaNova, with all of the video imagery being performed live on our bespoke media servers.
When designing a video installation piece for a subsequent Royal Gala performance at the RFH in October 2007, part of our proposal required us to develop and install a discreet mounting system for an array of projectors, that conformed to the strict requirements of the recently refurbished Grade 1 listed building. The client was so pleased with the result that it has since become a permanent installation.
We work outdoors, at music festivals and stadium events, designing all-weather systems for audiences in their tens of thousands. We work indoors, in intimate art galleries, developing innovative display systems that allow video artists to present their work in previously unimagined ways.
