First Contact is our new interactive audiovisual installation piece

DESCRIPTION:

 …Rumours are spreading. They talk of strange monsters inhabiting the forest. Did they come from outer space, deep below the sea, or have they escaped from the laboratory on the hill…You are the first person to encounter this previously unknown life form. How do you make first contact? How will it respond? How will you.....?

The installation was tested developed and then premièred this August at Boom International Music & Arts Festival, in Portugal. It then went onto its UK première at Shambala Music & Arts Festival, where it was part of a series of forest installations. It enjoyed a great reception from festival goers at both events. As well as being interesting and entertaining the project stuck to the difficult brief of staying compact and transportable by one person. The project which will continue to be developed and we might try adding a few new friends for it to our curiosity zoo.
